9th Annual Downtown Waxahachie Mardi Gras on the Square

The 9th Annual Downtown Waxahachie Mardi Gras on the Square
hosted by the College Street Pub will take place on Saturday, February
18, 2012 from 11 am-5 pm in Singleton Plaza located across the street
from 210 N. College in Waxahachie. Admission to the event is FREE.
Enjoy an afternoon filled with beads, vendors, live music by Zydeco Royals and a gumbo contest. The official Mardi Gras parade will begin at 3 pm with a route that leads around the historic courthouse square.
The day will end with the 6th Annual IOOF Mardi Gras Charity Ball at 7 pm at the Town Square Loft located at 101 S. College. Tickets for the Ball are $35 per person. Admission to the fundraiser includes food, drink, live entertainment featuring Zydeco Royals and Boys Named Sue. Tickets can be purchased by calling 469-371-3491.
