The Cedar Hill Daddy Daughter Dance, held February 2012 at the Cedar Hill Recreation Center, was a wonderful memory maker for the over 300 fathers and daughters in attendance. Besides the souvenir photo, good food and great music the guests were greeted by some additional surprises at the annual dance. This year each couples made their own unique bear using stuffing representing the six pillars of Character Counts (trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship). A surprise appearance was made by Miss Teen Cedar Hill International 2012, Lacey Leigh Trevino. Miss Trevino, attending both the morning and afternoon dance, greeted the guests, signed autographs and posed for pictures.
