The Canterbury Cougars girls’ varsity volleyball team participated in the Living Stones Tournament this past weekend in Alvin, Texas with 40 other teams from across the state. The team went undefeated on Friday to win their pool and secure a spot in the Platinum Bracket. After losing their 1st bracket match on Saturday, the girls went on to win their next two matches and the consolation trophy. Congratulations to Caitlin Pierce (Sr. from Waxahachie) for being chosen as a member of the All Tournament Team!

Since 1992, Canterbury has been providing the highest standard of education in a nurturing and Christian environment. Over the past eight years, Athletic Director Scott Vaughan has made it his mission to develop a competitive and award winning athletic program that is as impressive as Canterbury’s athletic one. With State Championships in many sports, Canterbury athletes are definitely exciting to watch. With 98% of Canterbury graduates entering competitive colleges and universities, the majority of Canterbury graduates are also recipients of college scholarships, including athletic and academic ones.
