Cunningham, Major 96, of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully on February 1, 2012 with his beloved wife of 72 years, Ozell Cunningham by his side. Major was 100% Texan, born January 26, 1916 in Denton County. Major worked at Mosher Steel Co. for 40 years, and is a 32nd degree Mason.
    Alvin is survived by his wife Frankie Ozell Cunningham; son James W. Cunningham; 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, and numerous step great grand children. We love you Grandad.
    Visitation was held from 4pm to 7pm on Friday, Feb. 3, at the Hughes Funeral Home, Crown Hill Chapel. Funeral services were at 1pm on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at the Royal Haven Baptist Church, 10919 Royal Haven Ln. in Dallas. Interment followed at the Shiloh Cemetery in Flower Mound.
