Mary C. Hitt 68, of Waxahachie, TX passed away on January 19, 2012. She was born at Baylor in Dallas, worked with the County Extension Office in Dallas and was a Nurse for over 40 years and the last several years at Park Manor Nursing & Rehab Center in DeSoto, TX. Mary was preceded in death by her brother Eddie Nelson and her husband Roger Dale Hitt. She is survived by daughter & son in law: Lori & Marty Schrott of Damon, TX; daughter & son in law: Renea & Jimmy Murley of Waxahachie, TX; son: Orville Jay McKee of Burleson, TX; son & daughter in law: Jimmy Dale & Sherry Hitt of Saganaw, TX; grandchildren: Lisa & David Staton, Randy Staton, Amanda & Rocky Cruz, Michael Staton, David & Brandy Murley, Chris Murley, Jennifer Oliver, Marcus & Sherry Murley, Nathan Smith, Bethany McKee, Dustin McKee, Savanah Hitt and Trysten Hitt; 18 great grandchildren; brother: Larry Nelson. The family received friends at the Funeral Home on Monday, January 23, 2012 from 7 - 9:00 P.M. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, January 24 at 11:30 A.M. in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home with Pastor Dan McClinton, officiating.
