Dear Agnes,
I am a Duncanville resident and I do realize this is the voting season and all. But I was wondering, do the larger signs really get the candidates more votes? For instance, I see some of Mayor Green's signs and they are very large, I was just wondering . ~Just wondering |

Letter to Editor - Ben Franklin Clock Tower -
Political Handouts
Ben Franklin Apothecary's clock tower was recently used in a political flier from the "Citizens for Truth in Duncanville". Our store and staff recognizes the importance of community involvement and participating in our local elections. The service of these individuals in the City Council and on the School Board are vitally important to the success of our wonderful community. However, we did not give permission for our clock tower to be used in any political campaign and we do not support the content conveyed in the publication. As noted in Ben Franklin Apothecary's "Policies & Procedure Manual", the following is not allowed on the store premises: solicitation of political pamphlets, campaign rallies and meetings, and using Ben Franklin Apothecary in any political propaganda or handouts. |

You may have received a “voter’s
guide” from a political action
committee named
Citizens For Truth in Duncanville. The group
claims to
be local community leaders who have
fully vetted each of the candidates
in this
upcoming Duncanville city council election.
